Welcome to the MALAYSIAN ASSOCIATION OF APPLIED LINGUISTICS (MAAL) online store. Terms and conditions stated below applies to all visitors and users of maal.org.my and MAAL’s online platform (e.g. microsite on congress, conference, webinars and activities). You are bound by these terms and conditions while using maal.org.my or MAAL’s online platform.
General
The content of terms and conditions may be changed, moved or deleted at any time. Please note that MAAL have the rights to change the contents of the terms and conditions without any notice. For any violation of rules and regulations of these terms and conditions, MAAL will take immediate actions against the offender(s).
Site Contents & Copyrights
Unless otherwise noted, all materials, including images, illustrations, designs, icons, photographs, video clips, and written and other materials that appear as part of this Site, in other words “Contents of the Site” are copyrights, trademarks, trade dress and/or other intellectual properties owned, controlled or licensed by MAAL.
Comments and Feedback
All comments and feedback to MAAL should be channelled through info@maal.org.my.
Users shall agree that there will be no comment(s) submitted to maal.org.my violate any rights of any third party, including copyrights, trademarks, privacy of other personal or proprietary right(s). Furthermore, the users shall agree that there will not be content of unlawful, abusive, or obscene material(s) submitted to the site. Users shall be solely responsible for any comments made.
Service Information
We cannot guarantee all information about the services will be same as necessary updates supersede information provided earlier.
Newsletter
Users shall agree that MAAL may send newsletters regarding the latest news/services promotions etc through email.
Indemnification
The users shall agree to defend, indemnify and hold maal.org.my harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses, including attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to the users’ use of the Site.
Link to other sites
Any access link to third party sites is at your own responsibility and risk. maal.org.my will not be related to or involve with any such websites. MAAL is also not liable for any damage or loss which is connected with third party sites.
Inaccurate Information
There may be information on maal.org.my that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, omissions, that may relate to services and membership description, pricing, and availability. MAAL reserve the rights to correct any errors, inaccuracies, and to change or edit information without prior notice provided to members or participants.
Payments
All payments for membership and participation are subjected to the payment instructions and payment deadlines published on the website or microsites. Payment can be made through various payment methods made available such as payment gateway, credit/debit cards, online payment, etc.
Payments cards (credit cards or debit cards) are subject to validation checks and authorization by users’ card issuer. If we do not receive the required authorization, we will not be liable for any delay in approving your membership or in confirming your participation in an event or activity.
